Fundraiser Cheque Presentation

On February 19th children, parents and carers from 'Hands Up For Downs' visited the centre. It was great to meet the children our fundraiser would be benefitting and hear of the great work they do at this charity. The group was presented with the cheque for £1173.70 - the amount we raised from our 11 mile walk back in November.

Sam, treasurer and Mum who uses the charity sent us a lovely letter to thank us and tell us how the donation would be used.

Its been a pleasure getting to know and raising money for this charity and we will be continuing to raise awareness by taking part in the National day for Down syndrome by wearing odd socks on March 21st. We invite all our parents/ carers and children to do so too!
